Delivery

You will be advised on an estimated dispatch date upon placing your order. Please allow up to 3 working days for your order to be dispatched. Dispatch time for bespoke sweet trees and centrepieces will be agreed individually depending on the size and complexity of your order.

We use Royal Mail for small parcels up to 2kg and other couriers for larger shipments.

We strongly advise that you place your order well in advance and don’t leave it till last minute. Most of our orders are required for a specific date and, although we ship within 3 working days, we cannot be held responsible for a third party company failing to deliver in time for whatever reason.

If your order is urgent, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Should your order not arrive, please contact Polka Dot Creations; a full refund or a replacement will be offered once 15 days (for UK orders) has elapsed.

We DO NOT deliver to the Channel Islands & PO Box addresses.

Leaving Parcels Unattended

We can pass your comments to the courier (NOT Royal Mail) to leave your parcel in a safe place (eg porch or garden shed), however, we are unable to accept any liability for missing parcels as a result of requesting they be left unattended.

Returning Custom Items

Items sold on this website are custom made and therefore exempt from The Consumer Contract Regulations – the only exception being is if they’re faulty, not as described, not fit for purpose or any other fault of Polka Dot Creations. In this case, please refer to the returns section of this document.

Returns

We ensure all items that are posted to our customers are of the highest standard but if there is ever a need to return an item we do accept returns for a full refund. You can return an item for any reason such as faulty, not as described, not fit for purpose. If the reason for the return is our responsibility, return postage will be paid by Polka Dot Creations.

If you wish to return an item, please notify us in writing using contact details on the bottom of this document. We will then process your return. We would be grateful if you would return your items via recorded or tracked post, this is for your peace of mind, and ours. This is not a requirement of law, this is a courtesy request.

Items marked as being reduced for having a defect, damage or any other reason will be exempt from the returns policy.

Damaged Parcels

Any damaged products that are of fault of our couriers need to be left as they were delivered to you. Please do not discard the packaging box or any of its contents as we may need to see photographic evidence of the damage that has occurred.
